Job Brief:
“Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project coordinator to work on National Jute Board, Kolkata (A statutory body, Ministry of Textiles Government of India) funded research project [For a limited period of time] entitled “”Development of Jute composite for application in Prosthetic leg””. Engagement will be purely on contract/temporary basis and co-terminus with the completion of the project.
The position is purely on contract/temporary basis with initial appointment for a period of six months from the date of joining, extended up to the project duration subject to satisfactory performance evaluation of individual and provision under the project”
Qualifications: M. Tech/ M.E in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical and Materials Engineering /Production Engineering/ polymer technology or equivalent streams with first class
Experience: preference will be given person having experience in the relevant area
Competence/skills required:
a) Good academic record and knowledge in the relevant area
b) Candidates having exposure to experimental study of polymer composite materials
c) Work experience related to fabrication of composite materials
d) Adequate knowledge of numerical simulation
e) Good research paper publication
f) knowledge of technical report writing
g) Knowledge of modeling and FEM analysis software
