Job Title: Site Supervisor
We are looking for a trustworthy, take-charge individual to join our growing business as a site supervisor for furniture manufacturing. The role of a site supervisor has broad responsibilities, from managing staff and overseeing projects, to maintaining safety protocols and implementing site procedures. Our ideal candidate must be experienced, responsible, and team-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
- Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures; prepare and file accident reports.
- Supervise and evaluate staff; complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and time-sheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance; discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate.
- On-board and train new hires.
- Set project goals and oversee projects to completion; schedule and track assignments.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Communicate with customers regarding products and services.
Requirements
- Good to have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field.
- 1 year of prior experience in managerial or supervisory roles at furniture manufacturing firm.
- Should have enough experience to guide the labor in Carpentry work at the ground level.
- Should have worked as a supervisor in furniture manufacturing industry or workshop and should excel in the given job.
- Confidence to thrive under pressure.
- Professional demeanor.
Work Location
- Project sites as assigned.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
