The Senior HR Executive will be responsible for managing and supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations, with a strong focus on employee relations, counselling, engagement, and policy implementation. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive, disciplined, and productive work culture within the organization.
The incumbent will work closely with senior management and department heads to ensure smooth HR operations, address employee concerns confidentially, and implement HR best practices aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for site and office roles including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for ongoing and future hiring needs.
- Conduct background verification and reference checks where required.
2. Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
- Conduct HR induction programs explaining company policies, code of conduct, and organizational culture.
- Maintain complete employee documentation and records.
3. Employee Relations & Counselling
- Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and concerns.
- Provide professional counselling support related to performance, workplace issues, stress, and personal challenges (as applicable).
- Handle disciplinary matters in a fair, confidential, and legally compliant manner.
- Promote a positive and harmonious work environment.
4. HR Operations & Administration
- Manage attendance, leave records, and employee databases.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of personnel files and HR documentation.
- Coordinate with payroll teams/vendors for salary processing and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely completion of HR reports and MIS.
5. Policy Implementation & Compliance
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines effectively.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements applicable to the real estate and construction industry.
- Assist management in updating HR policies as per organizational needs.
6. Performance Management Support
- Assist in setting up performance appraisal processes.
- Coordinate performance reviews and feedback discussions.
- Support managers in employee development planning and corrective actions.
7. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, meetings, and internal communication initiatives.
- Support initiatives to improve employee morale, retention, and productivity.
- Actively contribute to building a professional, ethical, and value-driven workplace culture.
8. Management Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with senior management on HR strategy execution.
- Provide regular HR reports and insights to management.
- Support organizational growth through effective HR practices.
