Your Role
As a Design Engineer, you will develop robust design solutions to address automotive engineering requirements using Creo. You will work directly at the customer site, understand their design needs, and create high-quality 3D models and drawings. You will ensure designs meet functional, manufacturability, and performance requirements while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will:
- Be a medium to expert user of CAD platforms (Creo mandatory) and PDM tools, with good knowledge of GD&T, configuration files, templates, and mechanical standards
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into design solutions
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo
- Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing, and quality requirements
- Apply knowledge of casting, plastic, and sheet metal design (added advantage)
- Review and validate designs for feasibility and performance
- Work directly with customer teams at their site
- Collaborate with delivery and cross-functional teams
- Support design improvements and implement engineering changes
- Ensure timely and high-quality design deliverables
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in (Engineering Streams: Mechanical / Automobile)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical.
- Strong skill in Creo
- Strong knowledge of casting, plastic, and sheet metal design (added advantage)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
