An On-Site Installation Technician travels to client locations to set up, integrate, and test hardware, software, or machinery. They bridge the gap between complex technology and end-user satisfaction by handling physical deployments, troubleshooting hardware, and ensuring the final system operates perfectly. Core On-Site Responsibilities1. Equipment Setup & Configuration
- Reviewing blueprints, work orders, and technical manuals to understand job specifications.
- Assembling, mounting, and connecting physical components (e.g., servers, routers, machinery, or panels).
- Running cables, managing wiring, and terminating connections safely.
2. Testing & Quality Assurance
- Running rigorous diagnostic tests and calibrating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting malfunctions, identifying connectivity or wiring issues, and replacing defective parts.
3. Customer Service & Handover
- Explaining system operations to clients clearly and demonstrating how to use the equipment.
- Addressing user questions, resolving on-the-spot concerns, and securing customer sign-off on the completed work.
4. Administration & Inventory
- Managing, tracking, and maintaining tool kits and spare part inventories.
- Documenting completed tasks, creating invoices, and uploading service tickets or completion photos.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Adhering to local health and safety regulations, particularly when dealing with electrical components, working at heights, or handling power tools.
- Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work zone before leaving the client's premises.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
