Job Overview
IT Web India is looking for a talented and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on Shopify SEO, eCommerce websites, and organic growth strategies.
You will be responsible for improving website visibility, increasing organic traffic, optimizing Shopify stores, and implementing SEO strategies that drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and website traffic.
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits.
- Optimize on-page SEO elements including meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, and content structure.
- Manage Shopify SEO activities including product page optimization, collections optimization, schema implementation, and technical SEO improvements.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
- Optimize website content for search engines and user experience.
- Build and manage SEO reports with key performance insights.
- Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
- Collaborate with content and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of proven experience in SEO.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO.
- Experience with Shopify SEO is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of eCommerce SEO strategies.
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with keyword research and SEO tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML, website structure, and technical SEO concepts.
- Good analytical skills and ability to interpret SEO performance data.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience optimizing Shopify stores.
- Experience improving rankings for product pages and collection pages.
- Knowledge of Shopify apps, redirects, structured data/schema, and site speed optimization.
- Experience working with international SEO or eCommerce brands will be an advantage.
