Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end ISBM production operations to achieve daily/shift production targets
- Execute production planning as per schedule with optimal machine utilization
- Perform mould setting, loading/unloading, and machine setup with correct parameter configuration (temperature, pressure, timing, stretch, blow)
- Conduct trial runs and ensure approval of first-off production
- Minimize mould changeover time (SMED) and ensure efficient production flow
- Monitor cycle time, output, efficiency, and reduce downtime, scrap, and material wastage
- Troubleshoot defects such as short shot, flash, bubbles, haze, and wall thickness variation
- Perform root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdown resolution and preventive maintenance
- Ensure in-process and final quality checks as per standards (ISO/GMP/food-grade compliance if applicable)
- Maintain production, rejection, and quality documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (OEE improvement, cycle time reduction, Kaizen/Lean activities)
- Supervise operators, setters, and technicians; ensure proper shift manpower management
- Provide training on machine operation, safety, and quality standards
- Ensure adherence to 5S, safety guidelines, and proper PPE usage
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Plastics, or Production Engineering
- 5–10 years of experience in ISBM / PET bottle manufacturing industry
- Hands-on experience with ISBM machines (ASB / SIPA / equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of mould setting, machine parameter optimization, and PET processing
- Experience in troubleshooting moulding defects and process optimization
- Basic understanding of PLC-based machine operations preferred
- Knowledge of quality systems and production documentation
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to handle shift operations and production teams
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
