We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant with strong knowledge of ERP implementation, business process mapping, and Odoo functional configuration. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, configuring Odoo modules, conducting implementations, providing user training, and ensuring successful delivery of Odoo solutions.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, CRM, HR, and have the ability to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements from clients and analyze existing business processes.
- Translate business requirements into Odoo functional solutions.
- Configure and implement Odoo modules based on client needs.
- Handle end-to-end Odoo implementation lifecycle including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
- Configure and work on Odoo modules:
- Sales
- Purchase
- Inventory
- Manufacturing (MRP)
- Accounting & Finance
- CRM
- HR
- Point of Sale (POS)
- Website / eCommerce (Good to have)
- Understand and implement business workflows such as:
- Lead-to-Cash (L2C)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Inventory and Warehouse Operations
- Manufacturing Planning and Production Flow
- Financial Accounting Processes
- Configure master data including products, customers, vendors, warehouses, routes, taxes, and pricing rules.
- Perform functional testing, prepare test cases, conduct UAT, and validate business processes.
- Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, integrations, and issue resolution.
- Prepare functional documents, requirement specifications, and user manuals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and user training sessions.
- Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues.
- Manage client communication and ensure successful project delivery.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in Odoo configuration and functional implementation.
- Good knowledge of Odoo business processes and workflows.
- Experience working with clients for requirement gathering and solution design.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and provide functional solutions.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and documentation.

Good to Have Skills
- Basic understanding of Odoo technical architecture.
- Knowledge of Python, Odoo ORM, XML, and custom module concepts.
- Experience working with Odoo developers for customizations.
- Experience with Odoo migration projects.
- Knowledge of third-party integrations and APIs.
- Experience in multiple Odoo versions (Odoo 14/15/16/17/18).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
