Job Summary
The Senior Civil Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing all civil construction activities at project sites, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The role involves site supervision, resource management, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Review construction plans and identify technical issues or discrepancies.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Manage site manpower, materials, equipment, and resources effectively.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain construction standards.
- Verify measurements and certify contractor bills and work completion reports.
- Resolve site-related technical challenges and provide engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material requirements and timely delivery.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status.
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and project files.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E Civil).
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in civil construction and site management.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
