About the role:
The Product Engineering team is looking for a seasoned engineer to help build a security platform for managing cryptographic controls within an enterprise. As an engineer on this team, you will build a platform from the ground up, combining cloud-native architecture, AI/ML systems, and security best practices. You will work directly with the CTO and security researchers to translate cutting-edge research into production features that protect cryptographically secured assets within the enterprise. This role offers significant ownership and impact, you'll make foundational technical decisions that shape the platform's future.
You may find yourself doing all of the following:
- Architecting the entire platform from data models to deployment pipelines
- Writing production code across the full stack using TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend and APIs
- Developing backend microservices and high-performance scanning engines using Python or Go
- Experience developing cloud native services that run within container-based orchestration, such as Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud-based architectures with AWS, GCP or Azure
- Implementing enterprise-grade multi-tenancy with authentication (SAML/OIDC) and authorization systems
- Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and improve code quality
- Designing scalable data models and APIs (REST/GraphQL) for security data
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools
- Being a strong and proficient hands-on programmer spending the majority of your time designing, coding, and testing
Qualification Requirements:
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in full-stack development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Next.js, Node.js)
- Proficiency in Python or Go for building scalable backend services
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS or GCP, including:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)
- Managed cloud services (databases, message queues, storage, compute)
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Active user of AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar)
- Excellent debugging, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with high autonomy
- Self-motivated with a passion for solving security problems through innovative technology
Nice to have:
- Security background including vulnerability analysis, security tooling, or penetration testing
- Knowledge of cryptographic controls and key management principles
- Familiarity with security principles, cryptographic tools, and common vulnerability patterns
- Container orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and distributed tracing tools
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
