Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, fluent, and highly qualified High School Hindi Teacher (TGT) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Hindi Course A / Course B (Literature and Grammar) to students in Classes IX and X, strictly following the CBSE curriculum guidelines. Your core mission will be to foster a deep appreciation for the language, enhance creative writing skills, and thoroughly prepare students for their board examinations.Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus for high school classes (Sparsh/Sanchayan or Kshitiz/Kritika).
- Language Proficiency: Enhance students' skills in Hindi reading, writing, speaking, and listening, with a strong focus on correct grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct timely assessments, evaluate board-pattern descriptive essays and grammar assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Exam Preparation: Design and implement rigorous practice sessions, sample paper solutions, and board exam strategies for Grades IX and X.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school cultural events, staff development programmes, and language competitions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi Literature (B.A. / M.A. Hindi) from a recognized university.
- Professional Degree: Mandatorily requires a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with Hindi as a teaching subject.
- Certification: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or state-level teacher eligibility clearance is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of verified experience teaching Hindi to High School (Grades 9–10) in a reputed CBSE school.
- Languages: Complete fluency in spoken and written Hindi is mandatory. Working knowledge of English or Tamil is necessary for administrative communication in Chennai.
Essential Skills
- In-depth subject matter knowledge of the high school CBSE Hindi syllabus, marking schemes, and blueprint.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and poetic presentation skills.
- Proficiency in handling digital classrooms, smartboards, and typing/using Hindi software tools.
- Strong classroom management and patience with high school student demographics.
Job Details & Benefits

- Schedule: Day shift (Monday to Saturday layout).
- Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (In-person teaching).
- Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month (Negotiable based on experience and academic track record).
