Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with structural fabrication, piping, or heavy engineering work.
- Knowledge of welding procedures, material handling, and shop-floor operations.
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection requirements.
- Basic knowledge of production planning and reporting.
- Familiarity with fabrication machinery and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fabrication activities including cutting, fitting, welding, grinding, and assembly operations.
- Ensure fabrication work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for smooth fabrication operations.
- Coordinate with production, QA/QC, planning, stores, and project teams.
- Monitor fabrication progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Ensure proper utilization of machinery, tools, and fabrication resources.
- Conduct inspection of fabrication work to minimize rework and quality issues.
- Maintain production reports, fabrication records, and daily activity logs.
- Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.
- Resolve shop-floor operational and technical issues.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline within the fabrication area.
- Support audits, inspections, and project review meetings.
- Train and guide welders, fitters, and fabrication workers on operational standards
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
