Job Title: Fleet Manager

Location: Kochi, Kerala
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Fleet Manager to oversee our transport fleet operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of fleet documentation, RTO procedures, vehicle maintenance, compliance, and day-to-day fleet management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily fleet operations and vehicle allocation.
- Handle all fleet-related paperwork and documentation.
- Coordinate all RTO-related works, including registration, fitness, permits, tax, insurance, and ownership transfers.
- Monitor preventive and breakdown vehicle maintenance.
- Coordinate with workshops, vendors, and service centers.
- Maintain service schedules and vehicle maintenance records.
- Ensure timely renewal of insurance, permits, pollution certificates, and fitness certificates.
- Monitor fuel usage, FASTag transactions, and vehicle expenses..
- Track vehicle availability and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate fleet MIS reports and records.
- Ensure compliance with transport laws and company policies.
- Coordinate with operations for vehicle availability and trip requirements.
- Handle emergency vehicle breakdowns and roadside assistance.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in fleet management or transport operations.
- Good knowledge of RTO procedures and transport regulations.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance planning and workshop coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and computer applications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations.
- Ability to manage multiple vehicles and drivers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in transport/logistics companies will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
