About the Role
Soul Mantra Café & Studio is looking for a responsible, hardworking and hygiene-conscious Kitchen Helper to support our kitchen team in daily food preparation and service.
The role requires someone who is comfortable working in a busy kitchen, takes cleanliness seriously, and is willing to actively support the chefs and the wider café team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and food safety at all times.
- Wash and put away utensils promptly — no used dishes should be left in the sink or around the kitchen.
- Keep work surfaces, equipment and kitchen areas clean and organised throughout the day.
- Clean spills immediately and ensure there is no unnecessary mess during food preparation.
- Assist chefs with chopping, cutting, peeling, washing and basic food preparation.
- Help with basic cooking and beverage preparation as required.
- Follow proper food-handling, storage and hygiene practices.
- Keep an eye on customer tables and promptly clear empty plates, glasses and dishes when required.
- Ensure dishes and kitchen equipment are cleaned properly and ready for service.
- Help with receiving, organising and storing kitchen supplies.
- Support the team during busy service hours and maintain a calm, cooperative attitude.
- Follow daily opening, closing and cleaning routines.
- Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators, storage areas and other kitchen equipment as assigned.

- Previous café/restaurant experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

For us, hygiene, cleanliness, discipline and teamwork are as important as kitchen skills. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and understands that keeping the kitchen clean and organised is everyone’s responsibility.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
