We are seeking a proactive, target-oriented, and experienced Talent Development & Admissions Lead to drive student engagement, admissions, and talent development initiatives. The role involves leading the counseling and admissions process, understanding student career aspirations, promoting suitable training programs, and ensuring successful enrollment and learner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the student counseling, admissions, and enrollment process.
- Engage with prospective students through calls, meetings, walk-ins, and regular follow-ups.
- Understand students' career goals, interests, and skill requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Provide clear information about training programs, eligibility, duration, fees, career opportunities, and learning outcomes.
- Drive admission and enrollment targets and ensure consistent conversion of leads into admissions.
- Manage and track leads, follow-ups, appointments, and admissions through the CRM/database.
- Coordinate with the training and academic teams to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Support talent development initiatives, including student engagement, skill development, career guidance, and learner progression.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance to counselors/admission executives where required.
- Prepare regular reports on leads, counseling, walk-ins, conversions, admissions, and team performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve the counseling, admissions, and student engagement process.
- Ensure professional communication and a positive student experience at every stage.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in student counseling, admissions, academic counseling, business development, sales, or a related field.
- Experience in handling admission targets and leading or mentoring a team will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand student requirements and provide effective career guidance.
- Strong target-oriented approach with good follow-up and conversion skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office, and lead management tools.
- Strong organizational and relationship-management skills.
