Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & Sourcing
- Follow up on new product developments and preparations for retail buying
- Coordinate with vendors for sampling, strike-offs, lab dips, and bit looms
- Track and manage FIT, PP, TOP, and shoot sample approvals
- Follow up for accessories, trims, fabric approvals, and development timelines
- Approve EAN codes and maintain accurate product details
Vendor Management
- Assist in vendor selection and finalization based on category requirements and vendor performance
- Handle costing discussions, negotiations, and Purchase Order (PO) issuance
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Conduct random vendor visits whenever required for production and quality checks
Production & Delivery
- Maintain and regularly update the Time & Action (T&A) calendar and master data
- Ensure timely production follow-up and delivery of goods to the Distribution Center (DC)
- Coordinate with warehouse/DC teams to ensure GRN completion after receipt of goods
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Planning, and Warehouse teams
- Ensure product development and bulk production meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations
- Prepare and maintain reports related to production status, vendor follow-ups, and deliveries
Requirements
- Good knowledge of fabrics, prints, silhouettes, and sampling processes in women’s ethnic wear
- Experience in vendor coordination, merchandising, sourcing, or buying is preferred
- Strong understanding of product development and sourcing processes
- Excellent follow-up, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced fashion and retail environment
- Good command over Excel and reporting tools will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹13,204.27 - ₹20,000.00 per month
