Optimum Infranet LLP is the India operations office of Optimum Technologies, an Australian telecom infrastructure company delivering NBN (National Broadband Network) field services across Australia, with civil and electrical infrastructure works. Our Zirakpur office provides drafting, design documentation, and project support for Australian projects — working live on Australian business hours.

- Office start time is 5:00 AM SHARP (aligned to Australian business hours). Apply only if you can reach our Zirakpur office by 5:00 AM every working day.
- You must live in or very near Zirakpur (Zirakpur, Dera Bassi, Panchkula, Mohali area).
- Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory — you will communicate with Australian project teams.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, plus Saturday 4 hours (morning).
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret civil/electrical construction plans, drawings, and specifications for Australian infrastructure projects
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) from plans — accurate measurement take-offs, quantities, and itemised schedules
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for project works — materials, sizes, specifications, and quantities
- Update, revise, and redline plans and drawings in AutoCAD as per site changes and engineer markups
- Produce as-built drawings and design documentation to client standards
- Maintain organised drawing registers, revision control, and project documentation
- Coordinate with Australian project managers and engineers to clarify design details and resolve discrepancies
- Support estimation and material procurement with accurate quantity data
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
- 3 to 4 years of drafting experience in civil or electrical projects
- Strong AutoCAD knowledge (mandatory) — 2D drafting essential; Civil 3D or similar a plus
- Proven experience preparing BOQs and Bills of Materials from construction plans
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Good MS Excel skills for quantity schedules and material lists
- Excellent English — written and spoken — for daily communication with Australian project teams
- Resident of Zirakpur or nearby (Dera Bassi / Mohali / Panchkula) with own reliable transport for the 5:00 AM start
- Able to join immediately
What We Offer
- Salary Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month (based on experience)
