Role Description
We're looking for an Associate Telugu Content Writer with strong command over Telugu language writing and a genuine passion for South Indian mythological and devotional culture. If you're fluent in Telugu and English, have a deep understanding of Telugu traditions, and want to own content that reaches millions of users, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end creation of engaging, culturally relevant Telugu scripts for performance marketing campaigns.
Independently write high-converting Telugu copy for Meta static ads and other digital marketing creatives, with minimal supervision.
Partner closely with Performance Marketing and Creative teams to shape ad messaging strategy, not just execute briefs.
Proofread, quality-check, and sign off on Telugu content for linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand consistency.
Analyze campaign performance data alongside the marketing team to iteratively improve copy based on what's converting.
Build and maintain a repository of culturally relevant themes, festival calendars, and devotional content angles to speed up creative turnaround.
Requirements
1–3 years of professional content writing experience (agency, in-house marketing, or media/publishing background preferred).
Native or highly proficient Telugu language skills (reading and writing) plus strong English proficiency.
Proven track record of writing short-form ad copy and video scripts that have gone live/performed in real campaigns.
Strong understanding of South Indian culture, traditions, festivals, and pujas, with the judgment to know what resonates with different audience segments.
Solid research skills to independently develop accurate, culturally sound festival, puja, and devotional content.
Ability to interpret creative briefs with minimal guidance and deliver polished content within tight deadlines.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment; ability to take and give constructive feedback.
Ownership mindset, able to manage multiple content requests simultaneously and prioritize independently.
