Position: Video Editor Intern
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who is passionate about editing engaging visual content. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of storytelling through editing, pacing, transitions, sound design, and social media trends. The intern will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality videos for brands, advertisements, social media platforms, and digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Edit advertisements, promotional videos, podcasts, and brand campaigns.
- Add transitions, sound effects, background music, subtitles, and motion graphics where required.
- Collaborate with the content, script, and design teams to create impactful visual content.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different social media platforms.
- Maintain consistency in editing style, branding, and quality.
- Organize project files and manage multiple editing assignments within deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, viral content formats, and social media trends.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Understanding of video pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Basic knowledge of color correction, audio balancing, and subtitles.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team.
- Portfolio or previous editing work is preferred.
- Passion for content creation, filmmaking, and digital media.
