About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and maintain service standards.
- Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation standards are followed.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
- Train junior kitchen staff and support skill development.
- Monitor kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Step into leadership responsibilities during the Executive Chef's absence.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Prior experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP preferred.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and team management.
- Knowledge of food costing and inventory management.
- Ability to perform under pressure during busy service periods.
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead by example.
