Job Description
Digitron India is looking for a skilled and motivated Technician – CCTV & Networking to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CCTV installation, networking, and electronic security systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on advanced surveillance and network infrastructure projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV Cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and Access Control Systems (ACS).
- Perform IP address configuration, RJ-45 crimping, and network switch installation.
- Execute cable laying, structured cabling, cable termination, and rack/panel dressing.
- Carry out Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) splicing and basic OTDR testing/troubleshooting.
- Configure and support Video Management Systems (VMS), preferably Genetec.
- Understand and implement IP networking concepts and IP addressing schemes.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and surveillance system issues.
- Ensure installations are completed as per project standards and safety guidelines.
- Coordinate with project teams and submit installation/service reports.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass or 10th Pass with ITI in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or a related technical field.
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or Networking will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience in CCTV installation, networking, or electronic security systems is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, and Networking.
- Familiarity with Fiber Optic Cabling and Structured Cabling.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues at customer sites.
- Good understanding of network infrastructure and IP-based devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
