Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in Real Estate, EPC, Infrastructure, or Project Development.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the company’s financial strategy, fundraising, treasury, banking relationships, financial planning, and overall financial management. A key requirement of this position is the candidate’s proven ability to raise funds through HNI investors, NBFCs, banks, Venture Capital funds, and Private Equity investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s overall financial strategy in line with business and project objectives.
- Lead fundraising and capital-raising initiatives through HNI investors, NBFCs, banks, Venture Capital, Private Equity, and other institutional funding sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, NBFCs, HNIs, VC funds, and PE firms.
- Identify suitable debt and equity funding opportunities for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Prepare and present financial models, business plans, investment proposals, project reports, and investor presentations.
- Manage working capital, cash flow, treasury operations, and liquidity planning.
- Oversee project finance, debt structuring, borrowing, repayment schedules, and financing arrangements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and cost-control initiatives.
- Monitor project profitability, financial performance, and return on investment.
- Ensure effective management of receivables, payables, working capital, and cash flow.
- Oversee statutory compliance, taxation, audits, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the Managing Director / CEO and senior management on strategic financial decisions.
- Evaluate new projects and business opportunities from a financial and investment perspective.
- Establish robust financial controls, governance systems, and risk-management processes.
- Support business expansion through appropriate financial structuring and capital planning.
Required Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in CFO / Finance Head / Senior Finance Management roles.
- Strong experience in Real Estate, EPC, Infrastructure, Construction, Project Development, or related industries.
- Proven track record in fundraising / capital raising from HNIs, NBFCs, banks, Venture Capital, Private Equity, or institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of project finance, debt & equity structuring, treasury, working capital, and financial modelling.
- Excellent banking and investor relationship-management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic financial decision-making ability.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
- CA / CMA qualification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.
