Key Responsibilities
- Teach Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, or Odissi to students across different grade levels.
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans suitable for age and skill levels.
- Train students for school functions, annual day events, cultural programs, and competitions.
- Choreograph dance performances for school events and inter-school competitions.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage discipline, creativity, rhythm, and expression in dance practice.
- Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment during practice sessions.
- Coordinate with teachers and school administration for cultural activities.
- Promote awareness of Indian culture, traditions, and classical arts through dance.
- Manage costumes, props, and music required for performances.
Preferred
- 1+ years of relevant experience in classical dance teaching.
- Available for full-time employment.
