We are currently hiring an Assistant Professor – Computer Applications & Tally to deliver practical and industry-oriented training at our partner universities in Jamshedpur.
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic faculty member with strong expertise in Computer Applications, Advanced Excel, and Tally Prime to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent classroom delivery skills along with hands-on knowledge of business software, computerized accounting, ERP concepts, and modern office applications.
Candidates with experience in both academic teaching and practical software training will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom lectures and practical sessions on Computer Applications and Business Software.
- Teach Advanced Excel with real-world business applications.
- Deliver hands-on training in Tally Prime, including accounting, GST, inventory management, payroll, banking, and financial reporting.
- Teach Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, DBMS, SQL, MIS, Internet & E-Commerce, and Business Applications.
- Conduct practical lab sessions and software demonstrations.
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic mentoring.
- Guide students on projects, internships, and industry readiness.
- Participate in curriculum development, examinations, academic planning, and faculty meetings.
- Support placement initiatives and industry interaction activities.

Required Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree in Computer Applications (MCA), Computer Science, Information Technology, M.Com (Computer Applications), or a related discipline.
- NET/SET or Ph.D. will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching or software training experience.
- Candidates with industry experience in accounting software training are also encouraged to apply.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Tally Prime (Mandatory)
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Dashboards, Data Analysis, Conditional Formatting)
