Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of press machines, moulds, grinders, and plant equipment.
- Inspect machines daily and fix issues to avoid stoppage.
- Assemble, disassemble, clean, and repair moulds.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and minor electrical problems.
- Maintain maintenance records and report repeated failures.
- Coordinate with production for planned servicing.
- Follow safety rules and maintenance procedures.
- Support installation of new machines and tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or Tool & Die.
- 3–5 years’ experience in metal stamping machine maintenance.
- Must have experience in Autocad
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of press machines, moulds, grinders, and basic electrical work.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer knowledge for reports.
Preferred
- Experience in precision manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of TPM or preventive maintenance systems.
