Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Education Counsellor who will be responsible for calling prospective students, explaining our online courses, and converting leads into enrollments. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a persuasive approach, and the ability to guide potential learners in choosing the right course for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and follow up with leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, and email
- Explain course details, benefits, and career outcomes to prospective students
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable online courses
- Convert inquiries into successful course enrollments
- Maintain a record of leads, calls, and conversions in the CRM or tracking system
- Address queries and concerns from potential students regarding course content, fees, and schedules
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly sales and conversion targets
- Coordinate with the marketing team regarding lead quality and campaign performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and sales skills
- Comfortable with outbound calling and lead follow-ups
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle objections and close sales effectively
- Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in education sales, ed-tech
- Experience selling online courses or training programs
- Familiarity with counselling students regarding career or skill development
Compensation
- Fixed salary + performance-based incentives (as applicable)
