Job Summary:
The Billing Operator is responsible for preparing accurate customer invoices, processing payments, maintaining billing records, and ensuring smooth billing operations in the jewellery showroom. The role requires attention to detail, customer service skills, and knowledge of jewellery billing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate accurate invoices for jewellery purchases using billing software.
- Verify product details, including weight, purity, making charges, GST, discounts, and final pricing.
- Process customer payments through cash, card, UPI, bank transfer, or other approved payment methods.
- Maintain daily billing records and reconcile cash and digital payment transactions.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure correct billing information.
- Handle exchanges, returns, cancellations, and credit notes as per company policy.
- Prepare daily sales and billing reports for management.
- Maintain customer records and ensure confidentiality of business information.
- Assist customers with billing-related queries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and company billing procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12th Pass; Graduate preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office.
- Experience with billing/POS software (jewellery software experience is an advantage).
- 1–3 years of experience in billing, cashiering, or retail operations is preferred, Fresher also welcome

Working Hours
- As per showroom timings, including weekends and festivals, with weekly off as per company policy.
