We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance, TDS, and banking activities. The candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting and taxation, along with hands-on experience or willingness to learn tools like Tally and Zoho Books.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Assist in maintaining daily accounting entries and financial records
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities
- Support bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintain proper documentation of transactions
GST Compliance
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns:
- GSTR-1 (Monthly/Quarterly)
- GSTR-3B
- Quarterly Returns (QRMP Scheme)
- Annual Returns (GSTR-9 – basic support)
- Support GST reconciliation (2A/2B vs books)
- Assist in GST data preparation, amendments, and basic compliance work
TDS Compliance
- Assist in TDS calculation and deduction
- Support filing of TDS returns (quarterly)
- Maintain TDS records and documentation
- Assist in basic TDS reconciliation
Banking Activities
- Handle bank entries and transaction postings
- Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Track payments, receipts, and follow-ups
- Assist in maintaining cash and bank records
Data Entry & Documentation
- Enter accounting data in Tally and Zoho Books
- Maintain records, invoices, and supporting documents
- Organize files and ensure proper documentation
Reporting & Support
- Assist senior accountants in preparing reports and statements
- Support audit and compliance activities
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or related field (B.Com preferred)
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and banking processes (basic level)
- Familiarity with Tally and/or Zoho Books is an advantage
- Good communication and learning attitude
- Attention to detail and accuracy
