Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, and technically strong Service Executive with a proven track record in after-sales support of sophisticated instrumentation and analytical systems. The role demands customer-centricity, strong problem-solving ability, and comfort engaging with senior scientists and researchers across India.
You will be responsible for maintaining the performance and reliability of the high-precision instruments that AlfaTech deals in — while also bringing a commercial mindset to every customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
After-Sales Support
· Provide end-to-end after-sales support for sophisticated scientific and industrial instruments
· Diagnose and repair equipment faults in a timely and effective manner
· Conduct scheduled servicing and develop preventive maintenance strategies
· Perform quality assurance and safety checks across all installed equipment
Customer Engagement
· Communicate proactively with clients, engineers, and technicians to ensure seamless service delivery
· Follow up promptly on service requests and provide structured customer feedback
· Deliver product demonstrations to ensure customers are educated on safe and effective equipment use
Continuous Improvement
· Monitor equipment performance trends and recommend product improvements or upgrades
· Update and maintain user manuals and technical documentation
· Monitor spare parts inventory and initiate reorders when necessary
· Attend workshops and industry events to stay current with technological developments
· Maintain accurate records of all service calls, findings, and resolutions
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
· Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Physics, or a related technical discipline
· 1–5 years of hands-on experience in servicing analytical or scientific instruments
· Comfort engaging with senior scientists and researchers in government and private institutions
· Willingness to travel PAN India approximately 10–15 days per month
· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with a structured, methodical approach
Good to Have
· Prior exposure to SEM, Raman spectrometers, aerosol instruments, or similar precision equipment
· A commercial sensibility — ability to identify and communicate upgrade or service contract opportunities
· Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and client interactions
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
