Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and structured Senior HR Administrator to streamline our HR department for a growing team of 250+ employees (including retail sales staff, corporate team, and manufacturing karigars). The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating organization hierarchies from scratch, designing company policies (SOPs), and managing end-to-end payroll, attendance, benefits, and performance appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:
Hierarchy & Org Structure: Design and implement a clear organizational chart, defining reporting lines and detailed Job Descriptions (JDs) for every role.
SOP & Policy Drafting: Formulate and document standard company policies for leaves, attendance, employee code of conduct, and disciplinary actions.
Payroll & Compliance Management: Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including attendance tracking, overtime, and structural compliances (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax if applicable).
Loan & Advance Policies: Create and manage a structured SOP for employee salary advances and personal loans, ensuring systematic approvals and monthly EMI recoveries.
Performance & Increment Framework: Design a fair appraisal system (KPI/KRA based) tailored for retail staff (targets) and karigars (production/wastage control), along with a yearly increment and festive bonus structure.
Grievance Handling: Act as the primary point of contact for employee issues, resolving conflicts between ground staff, managers, and management smoothly.
Requirements & Criteria
Experience: 5-8 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist/Manager. Experience in Retail, Manufacturing, MSMEs, or the Jewellery sector is highly preferred.
Education: MBA in HR, PGDM in HR, or Master of Social Work (MSW).
Skills: Expert knowledge of HRMS software (Keka, Zoho, greytHR, etc.) and advanced MS Excel.
Languages: Fluent in Hindi and English. Proficiency in the local language (Marathi,etc.) is a huge plus to communicate effectively with artisans/karigars.
Traits: Strong leadership, firm decision-making, and excellent mediation skills.
