Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team at a leading Interior Contracting Company. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of interior fit-out works and hands-on experience managing quantity and cost control across interior projects.
Key Responsibilities:
·Billing & Quantity Verification:
oConduct Bill Quantity Check and coordinate with Project Managers for verification.
oVerify Extra & Excess Quantity with Architects and escalate to Senior Engineers.
oCheck and certify subcontractors' final bills.
oPrepare and certify contractor bills based on actual measurements.
·Site Management & Reporting:
oPrepare daily reports on manpower deployment, area progress, and material consumption of subcontractors and submit to HOD.
oMaintain actual site measurement sheets, including extra works and deviations.
oFollow up with PMC/Clients for checking measurements and obtaining Certificate of Payment (COP).
·Measurement & Certification:
oCheck work measurements after completion and prepare documentation accordingly.
oGet measurement sheets certified by PMC, Architect, and Client.
·Billing & Documentation:
oEnsure timely client billing in line with the relevant billing cycle.
oPrepare Comparison Statements for various bills.
oGenerate Variation Statements – BOQ vs GFC – and ensure necessary approvals for deviations.
·Cost Analysis & Procurement Support:
oPerform rate analysis with all necessary supporting documents.
oSupport procurement team in material estimation and preparing BOM.
oAssist in checking and certification of subcontractor bills and measurements.
Desired Candidate Profile:
·Experience:
oMinimum 5 years overall experience in quantity surveying.
oAt least 3 years specifically in an Interior Contracting/ Fit-Out Company.
·Skills Required:
oStrong knowledge of billing, BOQ, GFC drawings, and rate analysis.
oAbility to handle subcontractor billing and certification independently.
oExcellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams and clients.
oProficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software tools.
