We are seeking a a member of the Supply Chain and Operational team based in India, who will report to the Indian Supply Chain and Operations Manager and manage all logistics support. The main scope will be supplying functions for finished goods (FG) and be the part of each project team where product/service delivery related to FG is required. This role will be working closely with the Indian domestic sales and marketing team as well as with the international supply chain and logistics team to ensure that the process of reaching the destination is legally compliant with their relevant procedures.

Ensure compliance with Indian logistics, customs, import/export, and FSSAI regulations.
- Manage licenses, registrations, renewals, vessel mapping, and cost-effective freight solutions.
- Prepare, review, and maintain customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of landing, airway bills, certificates of origin, shipping bills, and import/export declarations.
- Ensure accurate customs classifications, HS codes, valuation, duty payments, and regulatory filings to facilitate smooth clearance.
- Liaise with Customs, FSSAI, DGFT, Legal Metrology, Tea Board, and other regulatory authorities.
- Handle customs queries, audits, notices, investigations, and compliance documentation.
- Provide expertise on customs regulations, export schemes (SEZ, AA, etc.), and international trade requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and shipping lines to ensure timely and compliant shipments.
- Support product label approvals and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory, ensuring ERP accuracy and stock visibility.
- Ensure timely receipt, dispatch, customs clearance, and delivery of goods to meet operational targets.
- Conduct compliance reviews, mitigate trade risks, and train teams on customs procedures and regulatory updates.

Any bachelor’s degree in commerce & science or equivalent formal education in Logistics or supply chains & operations.
- A minimum of 7–8 years of experience in handling customs and clearing agents for both air and sea shipments.
- A minimum of 6-7 years' experience in handling tea, herbs and food additives related.
- Ability to translate complex technical and custom issues clearly to a varied audience.
- Working knowledge of advance authorization schemes or other mode of export like SEZ, EOU etc
- Willingness to challenge the status quo in pursuit of finding solutions and unlocking opportunity for product dispatching and receiving on time.
- Experience of exporting goods managing Advance authorization schemes with minimum handling of 150 MT with 40 SKUs per month.
