Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to handle the maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of HVAC compressors and related systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in AC maintenance, compressor servicing, and basic HVAC system operations. The role requires field visits, preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimum performance of HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC compressors and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot compressor-related faults and system failures.
- Carry out installation, servicing, repair, and replacement of HVAC components.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and refrigeration circuits.
- Monitor system performance and identify operational issues.
- Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with customers and supervisors regarding service schedules and repair requirements.
- Use testing and diagnostic tools to identify technical issues.
- Support commissioning and performance testing of HVAC systems when required.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and compressor operations.
- Ability to diagnose and repair AC and compressor-related issues.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance fundamentals.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance procedures.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for service and maintenance assignments if required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI in relevant trade.
- 1–2 years of experience in AC maintenance, refrigeration systems, or compressor servicing.
- Basic understanding of HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
