Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurement to establish standard operating times.
Develop and maintain manpower norms based on production requirements and process capabilities.
Perform line balancing to achieve optimum workload distribution across workstations.
Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities, bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies.
Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and manufacturing performance indicators.
Plan production capacities and evaluate resource requirements for current and future volumes.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Drive waste reduction initiatives related to motion, waiting time, transportation, inventory, defects, and overprocessing.
Prepare plant layouts and workstation designs to optimize material flow and space utilization.
Conduct ergonomic assessments and implement improvements to enhance operator safety and productivity.
Support new model introductions by defining process flows, manpower requirements, and cycle times.
