Roles and Responsibilities.
Measure, mark, and prepare metal materials according to specifications.
- Cut, shape, grind, and fit metal components using hand and power tools.
- Assemble and align fabricated parts before welding.
- Perform welding using processes such as MIG, TIG, Arc (SMAW), or Gas welding.
- Inspect welds and fitted components for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Repair damaged metal parts and rework defective welds when required.
- Operate welding machines, cutting equipment, and fabrication tools safely.
- Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and tolerances during fitting and assembly.
- Follow safety regulations, including the use of PPE and safe handling of equipment.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Keep the work area clean and organized following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and production teams to complete assigned
