Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer who can manage shop-floor operations, production targets, and team performance. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge along with excellent team-handling and manpower management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production activities and achieve production targets.
- Handle and supervise operators, technicians, and shop-floor manpower.
- Allocate manpower, machines, tools, and resources effectively.
- Monitor productivity, WIP, machine utilization, rejection, and rework.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Stores, Purchase, Maintenance & Engineering teams.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and production requirements.
- Resolve day-to-day production and quality-related issues.
- Maintain production reports and documentation.
- Ensure 5S, safety, quality, and discipline on the shop floor.
- Train and motivate team members and drive continuous improvement.
We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of experience in Production / Manufacturing / Shop-Floor Operations.
- Strong team handling & manpower management experience.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel & production reporting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of 5S / Kaizen / Lean Manufacturing will be an advantage.
