Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Assistant Professor in Robotics & Automation to teach undergraduate/postgraduate students, support academic activities, and contribute to research and industry collaboration. The candidate should possess strong knowledge in robotics systems, automation technologies, industrial applications, programming, and emerging technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and practical training in Robotics & Automation subjects.
- Handle subjects related to robotics, automation, control systems, embedded systems, PLC, industrial automation, AI in robotics, IoT, and mechatronics.
- Guide students in projects, internships, seminars, and research activities.
- Maintain academic records and ensure timely completion of syllabus.
Laboratory & Technical Responsibilities
- Supervise robotics and automation laboratories.
- Assist in installation, maintenance, and utilization of lab equipment and software.
- Conduct hands-on training on robotics kits, PLC programming, sensors, actuators, CNC systems, and automation tools.
- Support development of innovative student projects and prototypes.
Research & Development
- Participate in research publications, funded projects, patents, and consultancy activities.
- Encourage students to participate in technical competitions, hackathons, and innovation activities.
- Collaborate with industries and research organizations for academic partnerships.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental activities, accreditation work, admissions, and institutional development.
- Organize workshops, guest lectures, FDPs, industrial visits, and technical events.
- Support NBA/NAAC/AICTE related documentation and compliance activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, and Industrial Control Systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, CNC, sensors, embedded systems, and robotic programming.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or ROS is preferred.
- Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to guide students in practical and research-oriented learning.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Robotics & Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering / Electronics & Communication / Industrial Automation or related specialization with First Class.
- Qualification should be as per AICTE/UGC norms.
- Ph.D. in relevant specialization is preferred.
Experience
- Prior teaching, industrial, research, or automation project experience will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Passion for teaching and innovation.
- Industry exposure in robotics or automation systems preferred.
- Ability to handle interdisciplinary projects and research activities.
Pay: ₹47,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
