Procurement Executive – Interior Design & Turnkey Projects

Plot and Plan Studio is a multidisciplinary design and build firm specializing in premium residential interiors, villas, commercial interiors, and turnkey construction. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage end-to-end procurement for our interior and turnkey projects. If you have a strong understanding of interior materials, excellent negotiation skills, and enjoy coordinating across multiple teams to ensure projects run smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Procurement Planning
- Review project BOQs, drawings, and material specifications.
- Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Forecast material requirements to ensure uninterrupted execution.
- Coordinate closely with design and execution teams before procurement.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and manufacturers.
- Build and maintain a robust vendor database across multiple material categories.
- Develop long-term supplier relationships and conduct periodic performance evaluations.
- Source alternate vendors to minimize procurement risks.
Material Sourcing
Procure a wide range of interior and construction materials, including:
- Plywood, MDF, HDHMR boards
- Laminates, veneers, acrylic and PU finishes
- Hardware (Hettich, Hafele, Ebco, etc.)
- Modular accessories
- Quartz, granite, marble, tiles
- SPC/Vinyl and wooden flooring
- Paints, wallpapers, lighting
- Electrical and plumbing materials
- Glass, mirrors, aluminium profiles
- Furniture, loose furniture, soft furnishings, décor, and appliances (where required)
Quotation & Cost Management
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple vendors.
- Prepare Comparative Statements (CS) for management approvals.
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, payment terms, transportation costs, warranties, and after-sales support.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.
Purchase Order & Logistics Management
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) with complete specifications and delivery schedules.
- Track purchase orders from issuance to successful delivery.
- Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery to project sites.
- Resolve transportation issues and arrange replacements for damaged or incorrect materials.
Inventory & Documentation
- Monitor stock levels and material consumption across projects.
- Prevent shortages, over-ordering, and wastage.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including:
- Purchase Orders
- Vendor Quotations
- Comparative Statements
- Delivery Challans
- Invoices
- Payment Status
- Warranty Documents
- Material Test Certificates (where applicable)
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
- Principal Designer
- Project Managers
- Site Supervisors
- Accounts Team
- Vendors & Contractors
- Factory & Installation Teams
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all procured materials meet approved specifications and quality standards.
- Verify material quality before dispatch or upon delivery.
- Coordinate prompt replacements for rejected or damaged materials.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of procurement experience in interior design, modular furniture, construction, or turnkey execution.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials and sourcing processes.
- Experience handling multiple vendors and simultaneous projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Understanding of BOQs, purchase order management, inventory control, and vendor negotiations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced execution environment.
- Existing vendor network in Hyderabad is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Diploma holders with relevant industry experience are also encouraged to apply.
