Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HPE Server & SAN Storage Installation Engineer to install, configure, and commission HPE ProLiant servers and HPE MSA SAN storage. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with server hardware, Windows Server installation, RAID configuration, Fibre Channel SAN, HBA configuration, and storage connectivity.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesServer Installation & Configuration
- Perform physical installation and rack mounting of HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 servers.
- Upgrade BIOS to the latest supported stable version.
- Upgrade firmware for server components including iLO, Smart Array Controller, NICs, HBAs, and other hardware.
- Configure RAID as per the approved infrastructure design.
- Install and perform basic configuration of Microsoft Windows Server.
- Install all required hardware drivers and HPE management utilities including:
- HPE iLO
- HPE Smart Storage Administrator (SSA)
- HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP)
- Configure network interfaces based on customer-provided IP addressing.
- Perform hardware validation and health checks after installation.
SAN Storage Installation & Configuration
- Install and power up HPE MSA 2060 SAN Storage.
- Perform initial storage system setup and configuration.
- Create RAID groups according to storage design.
- Create and configure Volumes/LUNs.
- Map and present LUNs to connected servers.
- Verify storage accessibility and performance.
SAN Connectivity Configuration
- Configure Fibre Channel (FC) connectivity between servers and SAN storage.
- Verify HBA detection and storage path visibility.
- Configure Multipath I/O (MPIO), where applicable.
- Ensure proper storage presentation within the operating system.
- Troubleshoot SAN connectivity and storage-related issues.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with HPE ProLiant DL Series Servers.
- Experience with HPE MSA 2060 or similar SAN Storage.
- Strong knowledge of BIOS and firmware upgrades.
- Experience with RAID configuration.
- Windows Server installation and configuration.
- Fibre Channel SAN implementation.
- HBA configuration and troubleshooting.
- Multipath (MPIO) configuration.
- Storage LUN creation and mapping.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP Addressing, VLANs).
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, storage, and connectivity issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- HPE, Microsoft, or Storage-related certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience working on enterprise infrastructure deployment projects.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
