Job Summary
The Junior Site Engineer is responsible for supporting day-to-day construction activities at the project site, ensuring work execution as per drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines. The role involves site supervision, coordination with contractors and vendors, material monitoring, and progress reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in execution and supervision of civil/site works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progress as per project schedule.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors at site.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and work completion status.
- Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed at site.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and documentation.
- Support senior engineers in planning and project coordination activities.
- Check materials received at site and maintain material consumption records.
- Identify and report technical issues or delays to the reporting manager.
- Attend site meetings and assist in preparation of MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
- Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline at the construction site.
- Assist in preparation of BOQ, estimation, and billing support if required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and site execution.
- Understanding of drawings, layouts, and measurements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and basic project documentation.
- Ability to work under deadlines and site pressure.
- Problem-solving and team coordination abilities.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in construction/site execution.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.
Preferred Requirements
- Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and quality control.
- Experience in residential/commercial construction projects is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,807.35 per month
