Job Title: Food Technician

Job Summary
The Food Technician is responsible for testing food products, monitoring production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting product development. The role helps maintain product quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of food products and raw materials.
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform quality inspections and document test results.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
- Collect and analyze samples from production lines.
- Assist in new product development and product improvement activities.
- Investigate quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration schedules are followed.
- Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or quality laboratory (fresh graduates may be considered for trainee positions).
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and documentation practices.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

- Experience in audits and documentation.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing plant and laboratory environment.
- May require rotational shifts, weekends, or overtime depending on production schedules.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

- Product quality compliance rate.
- Number of customer complaints related to quality.
- Laboratory testing accuracy and turnaround time.

- Reduction in product defects and wastage.
- Timely completion of quality documentation.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
