Senior technical role responsible for solution architecture across AI/ML client engagements. The architect will lead solution design during the initial phase of each project, then move into design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance. The role also requires participation in client-facing technical discussions. This is not a sales role; it is a delivery and architecture leadership role with client interaction.
-
Own solution architecture for AI/ML engagements: agentic systems, RAG pipelines, conversational AI, computer vision, predictive ML, and data integration layers
-
Lead discovery and solution definition for new projects: system design, component design, model and stack selection, integration approach
-
Participate in client technical discussions and present proposed architectures to client stakeholders
-
Conduct design and code reviews across multiple concurrent projects; act as senior technical escalation point
-
Define practice-level standards: reference architectures, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, cost/latency optimization, observability
-
Mentor mid-level and junior engineers
-
Evaluate new frameworks and tools (multi-agent frameworks, MCP, model routing, fine-tuning) for adoption
-
10+ years in software/ML engineering, including a strong foundation in classical ML (computer vision, NLP, or predictive modeling) and minimum 3 years designing LLM/GenAI systems in production
-
Strong backend and distributed systems knowledge: APIs, databases, queues, caching, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
-
Hands-on expertise in Python, LangChain/LangGraph, FastAPI, vector databases, and agent orchestration
-
Sound ML fundamentals: training, evaluation, data quality, model failure modes
-
Strong communication and articulation skills; able to present and defend technical decisions with clients and internal teams
-
Experience mentoring engineers and reviewing designs across projects
