Job Summary:
An HR Intern assists the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative and HR activities. The intern gains practical exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, documentation, payroll support, and HR operations while developing professional HR skills.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Selection
- Assist in posting job openings on job portals and social media.
- Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and interview panels.
- Maintain recruitment records and candidate databases.
- Follow up with candidates regarding interview status.
2. Employee Onboarding
- Assist in preparing offer letters and appointment letters.
- Collect and verify employee documents.
- Help conduct induction and orientation programs.
- Maintain employee personal files and records.
3. HR Administration
- Update and maintain employee databases.
- Organize HR documents (physical and digital).
- Prepare HR reports using Excel or HR software.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
4. Attendance & Leave Management
- Assist in maintaining attendance records.
- Track employee leave applications.
- Coordinate with employees regarding attendance-related queries.
5. Payroll Support
- Help compile attendance and leave data for payroll.
- Assist in collecting payroll-related documents.
- Support the HR team in maintaining payroll records.
6. Employee Engagement
- Assist in organizing employee events and celebrations.
- Support employee wellness and engagement activities.
- Help conduct employee feedback surveys.
7. Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain HR policies and employee documentation.
- Ensure documents comply with company procedures.
- Support HR audits and compliance activities.
8. General HR Support
- Respond to basic employee queries.
- Coordinate meetings and maintain HR calendars.
- Perform other HR-related tasks assigned by the HR team.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HR principles and employment practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HR software is an advantage.
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
