Dental Hygienist
Job Purpose
To provide preventive oral healthcare services, assist dentists during clinical procedures, educate patients on oral hygiene, and ensure compliance with infection control and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oral health assessments and assist in preventive dental care as permitted by institutional policy.
- Conduct scaling, polishing, fluoride application, and other preventive procedures within the approved scope of practice.
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and patient safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain dental supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene or equivalent.
- Relevant registration/licensure as applicable.
Skills
- Knowledge of preventive dentistry and infection control.
- Good communication and patient education skills.
- Attention to detail and teamwork.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
