Role:
Design & development of engine main parts
Responsibility:
Ø Design of main engine system
a) Crank train (Crankshaft, Flywheel, Piston, Conrrod etc)
b) Valve train (Cylinder Head, Valves, Camshaft etc)
c) Lubrication system (Oil pump, Oil pan, water pump etc.)
d) FEAD-Timing system (Belt, tensioners, Timing Chain etc.)
Ø Should be able to perform design calculations, 2D & 3D preparation, failure analysis, designer level simulation & test result analysis
Ø Development of engine parts as per MSIL development process
Ø Analysis and resolution of quality issues.
Ø Cost reduction, value analysis & value engineering
Working in dynamic team for coordination with Engine testing, vehicle testing, production, supply chain, quality etc
Technical Competencies:
Ø Basic knowhow of Engine parts, sub systems & systems.
Ø Hands on CAD skills on UG (or Equivalent Software).
Ø Basic knowledge of product life cycle management
Ø Knowledge of production processes for Engine parts
Ø Knowledge of calculation, design level simulation & analysis
Ø Problem solving and data interpretation skills are required.
Educational Qualification:
B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical and 60% and above throughout education
