- Write, modify, and optimize CNC turning programs directly on the machine controller (Fanuc / Siemens).
- Independently perform machine setups, including jaw boring, tool setting, and taking zero offsets for new job work.
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and cutting parameters (feeds and speeds) for various materials.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, etc.) to ensure tight tolerances are met.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, reduce cycle times, and minimize material wastage.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance checks (coolant, lubrication, etc.).
