Executive Assistant (EA) – Policy & Research
Role Overview
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Director will provide high-level strategic, administrative, and policy support to the Director’s office. The role requires strong exposure to policy formulation, research, and stakeholder coordination, both internal and external. The EA will work closely with the Director on policy development initiatives, research-based inputs, and coordination with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Strategic Support
- Provide end-to-end support to the Director in managing priorities, schedules, and strategic engagements
- Prepare briefs, concept notes, presentations, and background papers for leadership and policy discussions
- Support the Director in internal decision-making through structured documentation and follow-ups
Policy Making & Research (Internal & External)
- Assist in policy formulation, review, and documentation for internal organizational policies
- Conduct primary and secondary research to support external policy positions, white papers, and advocacy initiatives
- Track policy developments, government notifications, circulars, and regulatory updates relevant to the organization
- Coordinate with internal teams to consolidate inputs for policy drafts and research outputs
- Support engagement with external stakeholders including government departments, industry bodies, think tanks, and consultants
Stakeholder & Coordination Management
- Act as a key coordination point between the Director and internal departments, policy teams, and external stakeholders
- Organize and support policy meetings, consultations, roundtables, and external engagements
- Ensure timely follow-up and execution of policy-related action items
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare research summaries, policy notes, comparative analyses, and issue briefs
- Maintain structured records of policy documents, research reports, and correspondence
- Support preparation of submissions, representations, and official communication
Confidentiality & Judgment
- Handle sensitive policy, research, and leadership information with the highest level of confidentiality
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in all internal and external interactions

Preferred Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Executive Assistance, Policy Research, Think Tank, Consulting, or similar roles
- Prior exposure to policy research, advocacy, or government liaison is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and research tools
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
