Role Overview
India Law Offices LLP is looking for an Accounts Manager to oversee the firm's accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting operations, statutory compliances, client billing, and financial management, with the ability to independently manage the firm's finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the firm's end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping functions, including maintenance of books of accounts, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial records.
- Handle all direct and indirect taxation matters, including GST, TDS, Income Tax compliances, return filings, assessments, and coordination with auditors and tax consultants.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, budgets, cash flow reports, and provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
- Manage client invoicing, billing, collections, and receivables, ensuring timely issuance of invoices and effective follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Oversee payroll processing, statutory compliances, banking operations, vendor payments, and ensure robust internal financial controls and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial, accounting, and regulatory requirements while continuously improving accounting processes and systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, statutory compliances, financial reporting, payroll management, and banking operations.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software, with strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
