Chapter2Drip is looking for a Junior Accountant to run day-to-day accounting operations and support the finance function as the brand scales. The ideal candidate has hands-on command of statutory compliance, books of accounts, and reconciliations, and can work independently while supporting the Head Accountant on reporting and audits.
Eligibility — either track qualifies
- CA Intermediate — one or both groups cleared. Articleship exposure (post-articleship preferred)
- B.Com / M.Com - 2–3 years hands-on core accounting
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping; maintain accurate books in Tally/Zoho Books or equivalent ERP
- Handle accounts payable and receivable — vendor payments, invoicing, collections follow-up
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances within deadlines
- Conduct bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and periodic account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close, including MIS reports and financial statements
- Coordinate with auditors across statutory, tax, and internal audits; resolve queries on time
- Track expenses, vendor contracts, and cost centres; flag discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain proper documentation and filing for all financial records and statutory filings
- Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and ad hoc financial analysis
Requirements & Skills
- Meets either eligibility track above
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF/ESIC compliance, and Companies Act provisions relevant to a private limited company
- Hands-on proficiency with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software; strong Excel
- Exposure to audits and liaising with external auditors/consultants
- Strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Preference for candidates from a D2C, B2B, B2C, retail, or e-commerce background
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
