Job Summary
The F&B Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing warm, attentive, and personalized service to members and guests. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining impeccable service standards, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable luxury hospitality experience in line with The Marque Club's premium brand values.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
Welcome members and guests with professionalism and warmth.
Present menus and provide detailed recommendations on food and beverages.
Accurately take and process food and beverage orders.
Serve food and beverages according to The Marque Club's service standards.
Anticipate guest needs and ensure a seamless dining experience.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
Restaurant Operations
Prepare and set up tables, service stations, and dining areas before service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
Coordinate efficiently with the kitchen and bar teams for timely order delivery.
Ensure proper table clearing, resetting, and closing procedures.
Assist during private events, banquets, and club functions.
Product Knowledge & Sales
Maintain thorough knowledge of food menus, beverages, wines, cocktails, and daily specials.
Recommend suitable food and beverage pairings.
Upsell premium menu items and signature offerings to enhance the guest experience.
Promote seasonal menus and special events.
Hygiene & Compliance
Maintain the highest standards of personal grooming and hygiene.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
Ensure compliance with club SOPs and health & safety regulations.
Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with chefs, bartenders, stewards, and fellow service associates.
Support colleagues during peak operational hours.
Participate in daily briefings and service training sessions.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management preferred.
1–3 years of experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, premium clubs, or hospitality establishments.
Freshers with excellent communication skills and hospitality training may also apply.
Required Skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong communication in English (additional languages are an advantage).
Professional grooming and positive attitude.
Knowledge of food & beverage service standards.
Basic POS and billing knowledge.
Upselling and suggestive selling skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
